The Most Important Part of Your Story is the Opening Image
Getting the first words right sets the tone for the whole thing.
You’re lounging on the couch in your comfies, snack in your lap, drink by your side, remote in hand, ready to click. You are in binge mode. You start an episode, and what happens? A brief clip of action starts immediately.
What would happen if they started episodes with credits or that annoying thing that’s weirdly called an “intro?” You’d be looking for the skip button. Am I right?
